As I write this on Feb 24, 2026, all the images mentioned below are available on the server. Some of lesser quality or value may not be linked or easily discoverable however. -rw-rw-r-- 1 casnyder casnyder 2227785 Jan 21 20:35 IMG_0761.JPG Original photo taken by Mark Marino on Jan 22, 2026. It is dated for Jan 21, but it was taken during our home match with Everett, which I believe was Jan 22. -rw-r--r-- 1 casnyder casnyder 1901797 Feb 23 21:25 IMG_5667-2026-02-17.jpeg This was one of Raechel Gren-Schofield's original images, taken on Feb 17, 2026. -rw-r--r-- 1 casnyder casnyder 2814659 Feb 23 21:25 IMG_5668-2026-02-17.jpeg This was one of Raechel Gren-Schofield's original images, taken on Feb 17, 2026. This is the one that I submitted for modification. -rw-rw-r-- 1 casnyder casnyder 82683398 Feb 24 07:35 IMG_5668_Rachael_Gren_andIMG_0761_Mark_Marino.orig.jpg This is the image that I got back from Azat @ Fiverr. He used Gigapixel v1.0.7 to upscale the image, and presumably other AI tools. -rw-rw-r-- 1 casnyder casnyder 33413794 Feb 24 10:33 IMG_5668_Rachael_Gren_andIMG_0761_Mark_Marino-Copy.png PNG version made with M$ Paint on Win 10. It is significantly larger than the similar sized jpg, with no extra clarity that I can see. -rw-rw-r-- 1 casnyder casnyder 5697933 Feb 24 10:33 IMG_5668_Rachael_Gren_andIMG_0761_Mark_Marino-Copy_2.jpg Renamed to IMG_5668_Rachael_Gren_andIMG_0761_Mark_Marino-display.jpg This one seems to load quickly in a browser in the year 2026, and has adequate clarity. The size seems to be in keeping with other season team photos. -rw-rw-r-- 1 casnyder casnyder 1665376 Feb 24 09:34 IMG_5668_Rachael_Gren_andIMG_0761_Mark_Marino.4032x3024.jpg I resized this one with my thumbnail maker (/home/casnyder/bin/thumbnail.pl). It landed at the same resolution as the "-display.jpg", but the headers indicate that it is "Density 96x96" as oppossed to the "-display.jpg" file having "Density 120x120". More importantly, the colors and clarity in the M$ Paint version exceed that of the the thumbnail tool version. Not by a lot, but it is noticeable in a side by side comparison. The smaller size of this thumbnail version isn't enough to justify losing the image quality. -rw-rw-r-- 1 casnyder casnyder 5323006 Feb 24 11:20 IMG_5668_Rachael_Gren_andIMG_0761_Mark_Marino-Copy_2_8x10.jpg Renamed to: IMG_5668_Rachael_Gren_andIMG_0761_Mark_Marino-display_8x10.jpg Basically this is the same as IMG_5668_Rachael_Gren_andIMG_0761_Mark_Marino-display.jpg, but with the width trimmed so as to give the appropriate aspect ratio for printing an 8x10. -rw-rw-r-- 1 casnyder casnyder 486043 Feb 24 11:25 watermarked-374b1fdf-140e-4322-8d33-222a02e3fd51.jpg Best of the many attempts I made to use AI to do this. DeeVid AI (free version) apparently wasn't willing to combine two images together. ChatGPT (commercial version) also refused, Grok was unavailable for free at the time I attempted, and Perplexity produced results that one might expect from a 6 year old child. Technically it put the two images together, in the most simplistic copy/paste approach possible. Apparently the ~$300 / month version would do better than my $35 / month version, but I wasn't testing the theory.
